BECi Scholarship Program
Each year Beauregard Electric randomly selects students within its service area to receive a scholarship to attend a SACS Accredited Louisiana University*. These funds were made possible through legislative changes in 1993 to allow unclaimed funding to stay in our communities assisting families to further their education.

To be eligible, high school seniors or college students must be a member or dependent of a member of BECi for at least one year as of March 1st, have a minimum high school or college GPA of 2.0, attend school full-time and plan on attending or attend one of the required universities in Louisiana.* Applications are available online, at each BECi office, or at the high school counselor's office January and February of each year.
Since its inception, BECi has awarded 138 students scholarships totaling more than $175,000.
