BECi is one of the ten of Louisiana's twelve electric cooperatives participate in the Youth Tour. Students submits an essay to an elected official or group. The top four winners are selected to attend the Youth Tour. Nationwide, electric co-ops from 45 states participate in this event more than 1,500 young people from across the nation gather in Washington each year.
The four winners, whom will attend the 2010 conference in Washington, D.C.
