Executive Vice President and General Manager - Kevin Turner
Kevin Turner, a resident of Grant, has served as BECiís Executive Vice President and General Manager since January 2009. He holds an associate degree in industrial electronics from Sowela Technically Community College and is a 2011 graduate of NRECA's Management Internship Program.
He began his tenure as an employee of BECi in August of 1992 as an apparatus technician. Then in 2000 he was promoted to supervisor of metering and substation control systems. His last position began in 2007 as BECiís Vice President of Operations and Construction Services prior to advancing to its chief officer.
Mr. Turner is a member of Cherry Grove Baptist Church, the American Angus Association, and the Louisiana Electrical Distribution Cooperative Managersí Association, presently serving as its Vice President.
Vice President of Engineering and Technical Services - Kevin Aycock
Kevin Aycock, a resident of DeRidder, has served as BECiís Vice President of Engineering and Technical Services since October 2008. Aycock holdsun a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering from Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, La. He is a registered professional engineer and a licensed master electrician for the state of Louisiana.
Previously, Aycock worked for 14 years as general manager of Kulaga Construction Co., Inc., DeRidder, La. Ė an electrical contractor specializing in the construction of transmission, distribution, and substation facilities. Also, Aycock worked six years as a senior electrical engineer for CLECO Corporation, located in Pineville, Louisiana in the areas of distribution protection and standards.
Vice President of Marketing and Member Services - Kay Fox
Kay Fox, a resident of Dry Creek, has served as BECiís Vice President of Marketing and Member Services since January 2007.
Fox began working for BECi in 1995 as a communications specialist and was promoted to director of public relations in 2004 before accepting her latest position.
Fox holds a bachelor of science degree in communications and a master of education degree in instructional technology from McNeese State University and is a member of the Chamber Southwest Louisiana Board of Directors, the Southwest Louisiana Entrepreneurial and Economic Development (SEED) Center Advisory Board, the DeRidder Rotary Club and the United Way of Southwest Louisiana Communications Committee. She is past president of the Louisiana Member Services Association, is a graduate of the Southwest/Chamber Leadership Program and was voted 1998-1999 DeRidder Rotarian of the Year.
Vice President of Operations and Construction Services - Mark Royer
Mark Royer, a resident of Ragley, has served as BECiís Vice President of Operations and Construction Services since March 2009. Royer, a 31-year veteran of BECi, began his career as an apprentice lineman in 1986. Shortly thereafter he was promoted to Journeyman Lineman and then a few months later promoted again to Lead Lineman. In 1997, Royer became Crew Chief Lineman until his recent position.
Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services - Ron Marshall
Ron Marshall, a resident of DeRidder, has worked at BECi since 1979 and has been Vice President of Finance and Corporate Services since January 2007. He has a bachelor of science in accounting from Louisiana Tech University.
He currently serves as the Vice President of the Louisiana Accountants and Administrators Association, is a member of the DeRidder Kiwanis Club and the DeRidder Junior Golf Association.
