BECi Makes Changes to “Alerts and Reminders” Options on November 1, 2019
Beauregard Electric Cooperative, Inc. has seen a thirty-six percent increase of members using an email address to receive notifications regarding their electric bill and usage history since 2016. With the popularity of mobile devices, BECi is committed to providing the latest information to its members and recognizes that its users enjoy the benefit of having information at their fingertips. As a result of the email increase, BECi will continue to offer email alerts, but downgrade the number of text messaging options beginning November 1, 2019. As a courtesy, BECi will only send text messages to PowerPay accounts that are in a “Pending AutoDisconnect” status.
BECi encourages each member to visit the BECi Member Portal to make any changes to their account before Friday, November 1, 2019.
